Bow Lake is 1160 acres, a deep water lake with 7 islands, Bennett Island, Loon Island, Long Island, Beech Island, Pine Island, Rye Island and York Island. Bennett Island is home to an Eagles Nest and the Loon nesting area site is at the north end of the island. If you go down Bennett Bridge Road with some binoculars you might get a peak at the eagles nest, it sits on the shoreline side about in the middle of the island. Shopping is nearby along with Antique Alley ( Antique Buyers Heaven ) on Route 4. Golf courses are close by and for those looking for a year round residence you are a short drive to Concord, Manchester or Portsmouth.
